It's always easy when it's easy, but when things don't go as planned, not so much. But them's computers for ya!

I think Ubuntu is half-way between XP and OSX, frankly. However, it sure seems more like XP when it comes to installing. Lots of hoops to jump through. Too many if you ask me.

I'll certainly blog so more if I try again, but this has been a huge pain in the ass, so I doubt it'll happen any time soon.

But thanks for your comment--it's much appreciated. :)

Re: Fixing Your MBR After Ubuntu Overwrites It and more Fun with Installing Ubuntu on Netbooks!

I dual boot both Ubuntu and XP on Acer One with no problem. He's been on Democracy Now a bunch of times and I've agreed with him on most of what he says. So, I'm sure it's a good read. Then again, I think it doesn't take a nobel prize-winning economist to see how things have gone south under the Bush admin. :\

But thanks for the comment and the link, as always. :)

Re: Macy’s Encourages Letters to Non-Existent Fat Men

"Say… just where are our presents for trusting the USG? With this, one can constantly refuel. Clearly, McDonald's next to kids' clothes benefits our society by supporting the capitalist system. Win-win for MacDonald's & Macy's.

Now they should get some psychologists to lease some office space as these kids will have serious self esteem problems as they can't find clothes that fit them. Then the Macy's/McDonald's sponsored shrinks will 'blame the victim': YOU KNEW THIS FOOD ISN'T GOOD FOR YOU. IT'S YOUR FAULT YOU GOT FAT!

This scenario was inspired by too many viewings of Supersize Me.
